Opportunities in China

I got the World Adventures expansion pack the other day. I love it! I fiddled around with it on a different game, so that I would mess up or loose anything on this one. It turned out to be easier to figure out than I thought.

Anyway, we started this gameplay with a glitch.

I'm starting to get worried. On a different town, I had a glitch similar to the one in the last post. One of my sims was teaching their toddler to talk, and they got caught to where they couldn't move or do anything else. Eventually, the social services agent came and took away both of their kids, and the father (the one teaching his toddler to talk) was left starving, smelly, exhausted, and heartbroken. They couldn't even adopt again after that. It was so sad. (This was before I knew very many cheats, like ResetSim and Make All Happy)

Anyway, Aleena got an opportunity ffrom her job to deliver a package in China. It resulted in a job performance increase, which was good. Since money was no longer a problem for them, I sent Aleena to traveling.

The first thing I had her do was go up and claim her bed.

After her refreshing nap, I sent her to deliver the package for work.

Well okay, now that's done, what to do with the rest of the three days? Oh I know! Go buy stuff! For adventures! And stuff!

In additon to tents and dried food for adventuring, I also got some martial arts things to bring home.

Now it's time to adventure!

After she found the way inside, she entered a room and was absolutely awed.

After she explored a bit, she was tired. So I had her set up the tent she bought and get some sleep.

Then I got tired of the tomb and sent her out to meet people. The first person she met was...er, this guy. Whose name I forgot, which is ridiculous because...well, you'll find out.

As you can see, they got along quite well. A bit too well, if you ask me.

Yikes...I don't even know how old he is...

But...well...It was Aleena's decision, not mine!

He...accepted.

I then sent them home early, because I kind-of wanted to see George's reaction to the whole thing. Remember? Aleena and George are supposed to be engaged. Oopsie! But as soon as they got home, Aleena got all freaked out.

I thought, oh, yeah, she must be afraid to face George! But then why is she thinking about her son?

Then Aleena's new husband had a wish to "Go to the park". Okay, off you go! And then---

DUDE.

Little did I know, the new guy had come home and seen everything. Oh dear!

He accused her of cheating, which I think she denied. Dude, he just saw you with George.

Then the new guy went to fight with George, who had no idea about what had gone on between Aleena and her new husband.  He had no idea they were married.

The new guy won, and I think it's because of his level 6 in Sim Fu.

And then Aleena went up and broke up with her new husband. He seemed pretty upset, even though he had just caught her cheating.

And then the camera zoomed to Brianna, who went into labor!

OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH RANDOM STRANGER IN LABOR LETSFREAKOUT!!!

Well, a while back, some one (I believe it was Isabel?) suggested via comment that I have a name competition. Sadly, before this, I had apparently already played to where the baby was born. I can try and change the name in City Hall, though! So, the kid is a boy, what do you think he should be named? Please comment and tell!

All's Fair in Love and War

Brian had to unclogg the toilet. Again. I swear, that thing cloggs up ALL THE TIME.

Then I made him mop up the puddle.

Those bunny slippers get me every time.

Aleena and George are so cute.

Which reminded me, I need to find a lover for Briana! The first person who came to my head was Charlie, but he's a teen. Well that's easily fixed!

Ugh. I was kind-of hoping he would grow out of that hair, but whatever.

He and Briana got along well!



But then she had to go to work.

She's getting really good at the guitar. It's at the point where people can't pull themselves away-even in dire situations!

"I really need to go to the bathroom, but this music is amazing!"

And yet her brother can tear himself away to watch TV.

Then he goes to fix the sink while his elderly mom works out.

I decided to choose a new outfit for Briana. I ended up choosing one of my favorite dresses in the Sims3. The first thing she did: UNGLOGG THE TOILET. UUUUGGH!!!

Also-Aleena got promoted! She has come to the point in her career where she gets to choose the branch she wants to go on: Thief or Evil. I took this into consideration: 1. Her LTW is to "Reach Level 10 in the Criminal Career-Thief branch", 2. She had a wish to "Follow the Thief branch", and 3. She's a klepto. I think the choice is pretty obvious. Love the new outfit!

If she were younger, it would look even better.

Now, since she's a "Thief" there are three options when you click on the ground: 1. Go Here, 2. Jog Here (from being "Athletic"), or (my personal favorite) "Sneak Here". Here's what it looks like when they "sneak":

I then had Briana invite Charlie out to the beach.

They are SO adorable. I had her propose marrige. He didn't need asking twice!

Because of my impatience, and the beautiful setting, I had them marry right there at the beach!

And then-GLITCH!!! They went home and cuddled on the bed, and THEY WERE FROZEN THERE. THEY WOULD NOT MOVE. THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING. They would have died there! So I did the only thing I could think of-I deleted Charlie. I KNOW I KNOW!!! But I most certainly don't want to delete Briana, and I didn't care much for Charlie...he was mean-spirited, and I really hate that trait...Anyway, Briana was saved. She wasn't hearbroken or anything, because he technically still existed, I just couldn't play with him or see him or invite him over or anything. Ahh, well.

Anyway, Briana went out to collect tips at the park.

Then Aleena mastered the Athletic skill. They even sent us proof in the mail! A certificate!

And THEN-GASP!!! George died!

He shook hands with the Grim Reaper instead of beggin him-which never seems to make a difference, they always zoom up into the beyond anyway.

...but then Aleena got the "Oh My Ghost" oppertunity, so he came back.

So there was basically no need to mourn him.

Also, he came back with his "fun" bar in the red, a random book in his inventory, and instead of being married to Aleena, they're just engaged. No clue what's going on there.

Bad, Bad Boy

Briana got invited over to a friend's house after school. The first thing she did was break out the guitar on their porch.

Then she went inside and did her homework.

What a glare off of the table.

Then she went home and-tadaa! Took out the guitar again!

The next day, Brian skipped school again. He is officially failing school. Bad boy! You will never succeed at this rate! His wish was to "stay out after curfew". FINE, YOU NAUGHTY BOY. To the park with you.

He did, of course, get picked up by the Twinbook police and brought home.

(that's actually not a picture of Brian being picked up by the police-it's of Aleena. I guess she was doing something for her job and the police noticed.)

Anyway, a kid named Charlie came home with Briana.

Somehow, seeing Maria's hairdo on a guy weirds me out.

After Charlie left, Briana and Aleena sat down to do Briana's homework.

Then it was off to bed. And something happened, something I somehow overlooked was due to happen that day.

Briana hopped out of bed and aged into a young adult! How did I not know it was her birthday? I need to pay more attention.

It has now become time to decide to do for heirs. I have two people eligible for the job. I have thought long and hard on this and have finally come up with the decision: the firstborn will always be the heir, HOWEVER, the secondborn will still be kept in the house. If there are third and fourth and so on children, they will be kicked out when they become young adults. The secondborn will be kept around to do the cleaning during the day and help the heir's children with homework and such while the heir is at work. I have put a lot of thought into this, but I would really like your imput. Comment and tell me what you think!

Well, the first thing Briana did was sign up for the Music career. The she took out her guitar and started playing right outside of the theatre.

Meanwhile, back at home, I realized that it had been a long time since Aleena and George spoke to each other.

How cute!
