Skills

Brian is still using his free time to care for his garden.

Meanwhile, Hunter keeps working at his martial arts skills. He's advanced a few levels and earned a few new outfits.

Every time he advances, he does this weird move. It's funny, because it makes him seem so professional, while he still hasn't improved at all at that stick thingy in the backround.

Brian, meanwhile, only just has time to catch a nap before going on with daily buisness.

More socialness! Hunter and "Girl" talk while doing homework.

SPEAKING of "Girl", I have narrowed it down to two names I like: "Atalanta" and "Alice". Please comment and tell me which of them you think I should do!

Aleena paid us a visit. She took out a computer that she did not own when she was living and started chatting with friends.

Here's a random picture of gameplay: Briana walks to the fridge, Brian washes his hands, and Hunter works out.

The family is becoming more social. I found Brian and Hunter in the middle of a conversation!

Then Brian left to cook food so he could sleep in. Which I didn't let him do anyway, he had gardening to do!

And a computer to fix!

George came to visit for the first time. He went to play on the computer.

It was then time for "Girl" (remember to comment!) to become a teen. She's so pretty!

After her, it was time for Brian to age up into a "Mature Adult".

(I love this picture. His facial expression is so afraid and surprised, and his hands accent it.)

Hunter had a wish to "meditate", which I didn't know how to do. But I figured it out!

(I love how his green belt uniform comes with glasses)

He's getting good at breaking foam boards!

Also, I was surprised when Briana managed to sleep through the night again!

She dreamt about a creepy smile.

Remember to comment and vote for the name for "Girl!" The choices are "Atalanta" and "Alice". Which do you think fits her better?

MORE GLITCHES

The first thing "Girl" (to be named) did when she came inside was work out. In front of the TV. Without me telling her to. She's not Athletic, I promise.

But then Briana and Brian got in her way by chatting in front of the TV.
...
I'm actually surprised at this, as this family is EXTREMELY anti-social. I always have to MAKE them talk to each other, because most times the only communication is through helping each other with homework.

"Uh...two plus two is...um...oh, just put five!"

Most times, the family is either on the computer or watching TV.

Then they go to bed. But then this weird thing started happening with Briana. She'd get into bed...

...and then she would be teleported out of the bed.

She did this about a dozen times before I stepped in and said, "IT'S NOT WORKING!!!" I directed her to her son's bed. They're best friends, so they can sleep in the same bed.

She slept through the night. I thought, maybe it was the bed? No. I replaced the bed, no luck. I tried ResetSim, no luck. I tried having her sleep in her son's bed while he slept in her bed, no luck. I gave up and dragged her "sleep" bar to full.

They all usually wake up early, so I have them get a head start on daily buisness. Hunter works on his martial arts skill...

Brian cooks breakfast for everyone (he's doing better now)...

And, if she has the day off, Briana heads to the park to "play for tips". She gets quite an audience there!
She actually made over $800 dollars there once!

"Girl" usually watches TV, as the only reason she is there is to fill the "second child" role, and she has no skills.

Speaking of TVs, here is the PERFECT way to show you how social this family is. Here is as close as it gets to "conversation":

How cute, they're all watching TV all together!

Martial Arts Failures

After he's finished with his homework, I let Hunter (previously named Ryan) watch TV until he gets too tired and must go to bed.

The first thing he does when he gets home is eat, though. He's usually starving by then. But this time, he was interrupted by BIRTHDAY TIME!!! (Which I knew was coming, I was just too lazy to throw a party.)

He grew into a very slim teen.

Since it was early in the morning, he had the day off from school. So I decided to put the martial arts things that Aleena brought back from China to use.

(Can I just say that it was pathetic? Because it was.)

When he became a teen, I realized that I had no second child. You know, like Brian is. And, considering Charlie...being deleted and all...well, the only thing I could do was phone the adoption service.

I adopted a girl, and it's up to you to name her. Her current name is "Girl", and I most certainly don't want to keep that, so what do you think we should name her? Here's what she looks like:
Comment to tell me what you think, and I'll go with what I think fits her most!

Rude Guests

I sent George out to the park to meet new people. The Prides don't have enough friends!

He met this young lady, a teen named something I do not remember.

But she seemed kind-of mean, and who wants mean friends? So I moved on to this nice lady (whose name I also don't remember).

She seemed nice, so I had him invite her over. But the game turned weird on me and instead of her showing up, the TEEN did!
The teen came right on inside and nearly barfed, because Brian hadn't been tending to his job.

(He was too busy cooking)

Then she jumped on the computer and started chatting with her friends.
By now, everyone in the room had a "rude guest" moodlet, so I had George ask her to leave.

Meanwhile, Aleena's ghost came. Since Briana was the one who missed her most, I sent her down to chat with her.

Then, George died. But I didn't get a screenshot. Sorry! I missed it! I was busy with something else, and then George disappeared, and I was all, NO!!!! Sorry.

And then another unbelievable thing happened: Brian had a wish to "donate to charity". Well, that's his "good" trait acting up! But I swear, I never thought I'd see the sim day when a halo appeared over Brian's head...
Aah! Scary!

Briana proceded to paint. (Let's just say she started this painting when she was a child, no kidding)

Then she wanted to work out. Okay then!

And then, all of the sudden, everyone was hungry! So they all went to get (spoiled!) Autumn Salad out of the fridge.

See, George was basically the cook of the famiy. So, with him gone, I have to appoint someone else. Let's see...whose home all day...who cleans...Oh, I know!
Er...looks like this may take some practice.

Trageties

So-I named the kid Ryan. What do you think? I think I'm gonna change his name to Hunter, which was my personal favorite of the comments. Hunter Pride. What do you think?
Anyway, Ryan/Hunter grew into a toddler. Well, I kind-of aged him up early, because sim babies annoy me. They just sit there, bundled in their blanket, complaining about being lonely. DUDE! I'm not too fond of toddlers, either, but whatareyougonnado?
His mother, meanwhile, dreams of sleeping without being woken up.
(P.S. I moved the new dude out. You know, the one who married Aleena in China and then came home to find out that she was engaged and accused her of cheating, and then Aleena dumped him? You don't remember?)

Now it's time for Brian to fufill his role for being the second child.

Meanwhile, Briana is having a hard time being a mother, especially when her husband is *ahem* deleted.

After he's done with his cleaning, Brian is trained by his mother.

"Run! Run! Faster! I'm your elderly mother, and I can run faster than that!"

She doesn't mention that she has mastered the Athletic skill and is a criminal.

And then Ryan/Hunter was hungry, so Briana was woken. Again.

Well, while you're up, you might as well be uesful.
(Oops, puddle. Better call Brian.)

Whoa, time for Ryan/Hunter's birthday already? Wow. I swear, I didn't speed it up!
He's tired!

Go to bed, kid! Oh, right you don't have one. Or a place to put one. Well, who doesn't love to sleep with their favorite uncle?

Just as I switched back to gameplay, the camera zoomed to Aleena.

Oh no!

Briana was affected the most by her mother's death. Every second she wasn't doing something, she was mourning. So I set her to playing.

See, when she's playing, she seems to be at her best. When she's not playing, she looks like this:

But when she's playing, she looks like this:
(See the smile? See it?)

ALSO! I have made another Sims3 blog. I will most definitely keep this one going, but I"m excited about this one as well! It's going to be a bit different from this one. Anyway, see it here: The Langraabs
